The web site saves, online, Search Criteria you have previously created. Clicking the Edit My Searches button on the Welcome page accesses the previously saved Create A Search criteria. clicking the above button shows an example of the Edit My Searches web page. The Create A Search criteria is saved when you checkbox the "Save Criteria" option at the bottom of the Create A Search web page. The name you have chosen in the Create A Search page appears here on the Edit My Searches web page. You have four options on the Edit My Searches web page: Search: Using the date you entered on the Welcome page, which typically is the date of the latest data, clicking Search and a chosen list of stocks, or a stock symbol input executes the Search engine with the saved criteria. The purpose is to have an easy way to do Searches once you have converged to a set of criteria you like. Edit: This option takes you to the Create My Searches web page with the saved criteria loaded. You can make changes and resave the criteria if you checkbox the "Save Criteria" option at the bottom of the web page. If you do not checkbox the "Save Criteria" option, the changes are not saved. Copy: This option immediately copies your saved criteria, say named Bull Call Spread, to a new saved criteria with the name "Copy of Bull Call Spread" Once copied you can use the Edit button to make desired modifications to the copy. Delete: Clicking this button immediately deletes the saved criteria and it cannot be recovered. |
